Study the style of any great or successful people in the world today. One thing about them will certainly mesmerise you - their dynamic approach to product, service or public relations. If you show any slackness or adopt an orthodox approach you are bound to fail either today or tomorrow. You are sure to stumble down in the race to stardom or leadership in the field. But the question is how you can add dynamism to your personality and every action. Dynamism is energy, speed and readiness to adapt to the changed trend and dealing with others effectively. And you can instill it into your ventures with simple steps and then you are on your path to change the whole working environment at personal level or in the company or office where you are working.
1. Keep Yourself Physically Fit And Mentally Alert
Great Indian philosopher and dynamic brain Swami Vivekanand asserted that young persons should prefer playing football to gaining knowledge. According to him till young persons are physical fit knowledge is useless. No person is able to get a dynamic touch if he is physically ill or weak. Do believe this old saying that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body.
Any person, with a little wisdom, can remain physically fit and mentally alert. You need a combination of good exercise and balanced diet. Food of restaurants and hotels may lure you due to its taste and glamour. But actually it proves really bad for your physical fitness. It not only weakens your immune system but proves heavy on your pocket too. Now and then it is OK to eat outside to have some fun. But mostly you should eat home-made food. Take fresh vegetables, fruits, curd, pulses, rice and wheat. Take exercise that suits your body for at least half an hour daily. It will strengthen your immune system and keep you free from most of the modern world diseases like hypertension, diabetes, common cold, heart problems etc.
Don’t rush into any exercise schedule monotonously. Do an exercise in a manner you can enjoy - even walking in a garden while listening to your favourite music on your pocket stereo player can be a fun for you. If you enjoy an exercise schedule it will be more beneficial for you. A boring routine may not be as good for you as it should be. In the same way persuade your mom or granny to make your balanced diet tasty so that you can relish it. To boost the energy of your mind further have meditation daily. It will be relaxing and vitalising for your mind.
Discussing with friends and family members on various topics is a good exercise for your mind. It also helps your mind to organise its energy in a proper way. So have sessions of discussion thrice a week very necessary to keep your mind agile. Arrange it with your friends and family members. Today it may seem a wastage of time to many persons but tomorrow it will help you succeed.
To survive in the jungle of competitions you need to be physically fit and mentally alert so that whenever you find an opportunity you can grab it and use it to your maximum benefit. Otherwise forget facing the menace of competitions; you won’t be even able to grow and live happily.
2. Collect Information And Data
Dynamic people are always well-informed. They have facts and necessary data to deal with a situation in a wise and determined way. So keep your knowledge updated with the help of newspaper reading, TV news watching, reading magazines relating to your field. It is also necessary to travel various places to know where the world is going. Travelling fills our mind and body with a new vigour.
Collect as much information as possible to grow in the field of your choice. The secret of success of John D. Rockefeller - the richest American businessman - is said to be his passion for details. He was almost crazy to have all the details of his product and marketing. It helped him to plan a good winning strategy. The best way to master details is to read a lot about your product or field you are working in, discuss about it with your colleagues, travel to explore its world further and know how others are working in that field, and make valuable contacts. Good contacts will help you to know more time to time.
3. Impressive Wearing
In his book 'Law of Success' famous writer Napoleon Hill has devoted a large space on the value of good dress sense. He himself started getting success in life only after supplementing his personality with impressive dresses. Shabbily dressed persons are rarely liked anywhere. Dress sense of a person definitely has a good impression on others. Actually dress sense of a person throws up the first signal of attraction. Inner personality comes later. If others are disgusted with your dress sense then it becomes difficult to influence them. They are no more receptive to your communication. A good and suitable dress adds dynamism to your personality.
4. Be A Man Of Word
To develop a dynamic approach in your personality it is also necessary to be a man of word. Never make too many promises that it becomes difficult for you to fulfil all of them. You may lose reputation very fast. Famous philosopher J.J. Rousseau has wisely said: 'He who is slow in making a promise, is the most faithful in its performance.' Make only that promise which you can fulfil in near future. Never forget the promise you made to any person or organisation. Show absolute commitment to your words.
5. Sharply Observe The Changes In The Market
Once in a interview great Indian businessman Sardar Raunaq Singh (a rags to riches story) was asked the secret of his success. He told that he had a habit of reading and exploring all the sources which helped him to know about the changes and new developments in the business market so that he could plan his future strategy. By keenly observing the market he was able to take good decisions to start a new venture. Almost all the successful companies adopt the same strategy to observe the trends in the market and shape up their product or service according to the need of their potential customers. Sharp observation helps you to get a dynamic touch.
6. Continue Bringing Small Changes - In Personality, Product And Working Environment
Change is the rule of the nature. You should continue bringing small changes in your personality, product, service and working environment - another name for change here is to improve for the better. Big companies always use this rule to give dynamism to their business approach. Study the advertisements of various big companies carefully. They always keep improving their present products and introduce new products at regular intervals - new computers, news mobiles, new cars, new designs - always new or improved products. Good universities keep changing their syllabi to meet the challenge of new world trends. Service providers try their best to give you better service in new ways to keep up with the new time and competition. If you go against the rule of the nature you will either be sidelined or rejected.
7. Learn Effective Speaking
Effective speaking always differentiates you from others. Your speaking is actually first expression of your inner personality. Good speakers are magnetic leaders too. I have yet to see or read about a popular political or business leader who is unable to speak well. Most of the successful persons maintain a unique style in speaking and they speak forcefully. Your sentences should be grammatically correct. If necessary take training from a good teacher. Effective speaking is an essential trait of a dynamic personality.
8. Give Leadership To Your Workforce
Leadership qualities definitely add a dynamic touch to your approach. In case you don't have leadership qualities you can cultivate it. According to great Russian revolutionary and leader Lenin a true leader must submerge himself in the fountain of the people. It is the biggest trait of a successful leader. You have to go into the people whom you want to lead. You have to understand their problems and desires. You have to know about their habits. Till you are aware of their psychology and life style you can't lead them to achieve your targets. Your dreams should be moulded around their dreams. Keeping yourself away from your workforce or the people won't help you to emerge as a successful leader. All the steps described in this article and an unwavering confidence will definitely make you a dynamic leader too.
9. Live a Hard Life
One of the most successful communist revolutionaries in the world Mao Tse Tung of China knew the value of hard life. When he was young he intentionally planned to live a hard life as he wanted to prepare himself for the tough times ahead to bring a revolution. When we make ourselves habitual of hard life it becomes easy for us to face ups and downs of life happily.
People don't know that a hard life also adds more joy and fun to our life. Sometimes hard work may feel boring. But if we keep doing it with determination then life seems more enjoyable. Relaxation and other funs of life are really much more thrilling after a day of hard work. Hard work also brings more luck into your life. Canadian author and economist Stephen Leacock said: "I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it." Certainly, a great truth.
